Verifying your account

What happens to your card after the rip?
Revealing cards is only half of the process on Rips by Triumph. Once you see what you’ve pulled, you now have three choices:

- Keep the card temporarily, or
- Get the physical collectible sent to you.
Selling it back instantly
If collecting isn’t your thing or you have a card that you just don’t want to keep, the Instant Buy Back feature allows you to convert a pull into account funds. The platform shows you an offer based on the card’s fair market value, and you can sell the card. The money goes into your in-app balance, and you can withdraw it once you meet the applicable requirements.
Cards you sell through Rips can create US tax obligations, so Triumph may request your tax information once your annual card sales reach $600. If the required forms aren't completed or kept up to date, withdrawals can be paused.
Get the card shipped to you
If you get a card that you’re happy with, you can have it delivered to your home. You’ll need to follow the prompts to provide or confirm your delivery details. What we found, though, and are less happy about than we were during our Tilt Rips review, is that Rips does not offer combined shipping. If you rip several cards and want all of them physically delivered, they can’t simply be bundled into one cheaper shipment. This then means you’ll want to reserve shipping for cards you really want to own.
Keeping your cards in the vault
If you’re not yet sure whether to sell or ship, you can put the card in your Rips vault and make that decision later. But again, unlike with several other mystery box sites, you can’t keep your cards here for long. Rips currently only lets you hold a collectible in the vault for a maximum of seven days. After that, you’ll need to decide what happens next. The relatively short window also means you must keep an eye on any cards you leave sitting in your account.
The Rips app is the only way to go

Buying packs and cashing out

We found withdrawals to be similarly straightforward, but you have to remember to complete the required identity checks. The minimum cashout is just $5, so even the less valuable cards allow you to take your money out without having to build up a large balance. At the other end, Rips places a $5,000 daily limit on withdrawals.
How quickly the money arrives depends on the payment method you choose. eWallets are the better choice if you want speed, and ACH is best for bigger withdrawals. Remember that selling cards back and withdrawing the resulting balance are two separate steps.
